Pre-orders for Qv2F are now up! Please allow approx. 4 weeks for delivery and they are being made in limited quantities so now is the best time to jump onboard to avoid waiting in the future. Thanks for everyone's interest and feel free to post any questions or comments here!

Regards,
Dave

simply stunning again! the description says up to 7 120mm fans, can the front now mount 2x120mm? The powder coating also is amazing and I think better than traditional paint since smudges and fingerprints wont show up as much.

BTW Dave, I would have emailed you for that xigmatek cooler but my aspirations for my case have been put on standby  :-\   Now i want the rev. F! lol

Hey OV,

Glad you like it! For the fans... note that there are 7 positions to mount them... 1 in the back, 2 on the rad bracket and 4 on the cover... so the number you can add (or need) depends on other hardware installed. (No fans on the front... they were never needed.) For instance, I don't think you can fit two 120x25mm fans on the right side cover with another two on the rad bracket along with two HDD's and a large tower CPU heatsink all installed on the right side. (Maybe you can with 120x15mm fans but I'm not sure.) Anyway, with the CPU, GPU and PSU fans going, you rarely need more more than than rear fan unless you're doing serious OC'ing or liquid cooling.

The Qv2F case looks nice.

It says custom colors in the description under Latest Features.
  • So what are the custom colors?
  • Any extra charge for a different color besides black?

Hi Hako,

We offered lots of colors last run but most people just wanted black. I'll extend the same offer as last time though where people who place a pre-order can choose from the available black, red, dark blue, light blue, yellow and green at no additional cost.

Regards,
Dave

Thank you for the extension on the color options.  ;)

I just put in my pre-order today ;D

I didn't see one option to pick a color in the checkout. But i did leave a note in the in note area of the order form that i wanted it painted the Kawasaki Sport Bike Green

Just specify the color in comment box during checkout. We can paint the parts individually so do you want it two-toned at all? Just shoot me an email to discuss details.

Thanks!

I pretty sold with the pick of the Qv2E painted green u posted. If the green Qv2F comes out like that then I'm happy.

Hi Cirdecus,

The version F design is finalized, the build order is in with our mfg here and we're next on their job list so we're on track for having them in stock in the 4-6 weeks it usually takes from when we start taking pre-orders.

Note that this first run will be smaller than what we normally order... partly because summer is our slow time... partly because we'll be having the case built on a new machine the mfg just acquired which will require some minor redesigning... so a pre-order might be a good idea as there won't be many left once we fill the pre-orders and stock the retailers. (We're hoping there won't be a stock lag before getting the next batch but no promises.) It's also the best way to take advantage of getting it in the custom colors offered if you're looking for something other than black.

Regards,
Dave

Thanks Dave!

I just put in my pre-order for a default black case.  So you're thinking the end of august before we receive these things minimum?

Hmmm... I don't see the order. Did you have any trouble going through the checkout process?

Pre-orders went up at the end of the first week of July and so far we're on track for the 4-6 week lead time anticipated so it's looking like they'll ship in the middle of August.

Looks like my payment was made July 20th.  When i placed the order, the site mentioned that it was a pre-order.  What would be the eta of the case given the order date?

Ahhh... I took it as you placed the order when you posted here. Yes, I see it.

They're being made in a batch run so all pre-orders and stock are done at once. ETA was 4-6 weeks as of 07/07/10 business day so we're looking at having them in stock at the middle of August. For the assembly, pre-orders will have priority of course.
