Forum Rules!
« on: 03/10/06 - 07:11 PM »
Read these rules before using the PC Design Lab product discussion forums!

-You are welcome to read and enjoy the information provided in these forums. Registration is required in order to post in the forum threads. These rules must be followed in addition to the ones that you agreed to when registering.

-No illegal activity of any kind is permitted here. This includes talk and information regarding software piracy, warez, cheats, hacks or anything of this nature. We are bound by federal law to report and aid in any investigation that involves this type of behavior.

-Be considerate to others. No cursing, flaming, spamming, trolling for fights, hijacking or bombing threads. Simply treat others as you would like to be treated and do not disrespect the opinions of others simply because they differ from your own. Make posts that are relevant to the topic at hand and start a new thread elsewhere (in its appropriate topic area) if you wish to start a discussion regarding a different subject. Present your ideas in a clear, concise and constructive manner.

-No pornography or links to pornography may be posted in these forums.

-Do not hot link images from our forums or website!

-Exercise caution when dealing with strangers and do not publicly post your personal information. Furthermore, do not impersonate other individuals or falsely represent yourself. Children under the age of 13 must have their parent's permission in order to use this forum.

-No soliciting is allowed. Although we do not discourage talk regarding products other than our own, information and advertisement posted for the purpose of personal gain is not permitted unless you have obtained expressed written permission from PC Design Lab.

-Posts are to be in English only. Non-english posts will be removed unless they have been posted in areas that specifically permit the use of other languages. Try to use proper grammar and avoid the use of internet slang as this can be difficult for others to understand and reduce the power of the search function.

-Do not post information that violates copyright, trademark or patent laws that you do not have a right to distribute. Also, do not post information that may be restricted by a non-disclosure agreement or that requires the expressed permission of its owner. All posts become property of PC Design Lab for us to use in any legal manner that we decide. By posting in our forums, you are giving up your rights to all information and any ideas that you present unless they were previously owned by their respective authors.

-PC Design Lab is in no way responsible for any information, claims or opinions posted in its forums nor are we liable for any actions resulting from their use. PC Design Lab is not responsible for the content of any forum post or for the authenticity of their author. All opinions and views expressed in the PC Design Lab forums are solely those of their respective authors and do not necessarily represent the views of PC Design Lab or its affiliates.

-PC Design Lab reserves the right to change these rules for any reason without any prior notice. We strongly suggest that you review these rules regularly as you agree to abide by them each time you view, make use of, or participate in the PC Design Lab forums. Failure to follow these rules can result in restricted access, temporary suspension or permanent banning of your account. Only one account is allowed per person and any attempt to create additional accounts will result in a permanent ban of all and any accounts that you may possess. PC Design Lab reserves the right to ban any user, for any reason, at any time. Please read our Privacy Statement, Terms of Use and Disclaimer for additional information in regard to the use of the PC Design Lab website.

-PC Design Lab is not obligated, nor are we inclined, to openly discuss our business model, policies, methods, practices, resources, facilities, employees or our affiliates. By offering this service, we hope to answer your questions, give you up to date information and for you to offer suggestions. In return, we receive valuable feedback which we use to better understand our customers and for us to improve our products and services. We sincerely hope that you will enjoy using this forum and that it is a place where we can all contribute to the PC enthusiast community in a positive way.
